J-Lo, Beyonce and Kim Kardashian have all had a role to play in how we as women see our butts. Today, the curvier, the better.  To achieve a great looking butt, many women will do almost anything, including having their backside surgically enhanced.

The Brazilian butt lift is a cosmetic procedure that many women undergo to get a great looking butt. Fortunately, that’s not necessary (nor is it necessarily safe). Butt exercises can help many women achieve the shapely backside they are looking for.

A few great exercises, (weight bearing and aerobic), done consistently, is all a woman needs in order to transform her backside from flat or flabby to curvy.  Below, we will list what those exercises are and how to do them.

Squats, lunges (static, side-to-side, sliding, low and one-legged), step-ups are the best weight bearing exercises that are effective for developing a nice, shapely butt. Aerobic exercise is important as well. Jogging, biking and bike riding coupled with squats, lunges and step-ups can help a woman get a great looking butt (or ‘glutes’), pretty quickly if she commits to doing the aforementioned exercise correctly and on a consistent basis.

It doesn’t matter whether a woman thinks that her butt is too small, too fat, flabby or fat. It is possible to change any and/or all of the above. It is simply a matter of determining what exercises are needed to give a woman the backside she has always desired and then doing them. As long as a woman is willing to commit to butt workouts, it is possible to transform glutes that are too fat, flabby, fat or small into a backside that is shapely and toned.

One of the best things about butt toning workouts designed to help improve the appearance of ones backside is that they also have a positive effect on other parts of the body. A woman who begins a regimen to get a shapelier rear-end, will often, also, see her thighs and hips become more fit, firm and toned.

One of the best butt exercises of all is squats. Squats can be done with a bar and free weights, using a person’s own body weight or with dumbbells, either at home or at the gym. For someone who doesn’t require a lot of weight for their squat exercises, light-weight dumbbells are all that’s needed. These can be purchased pretty inexpensively.

Individuals that want a shapelier backside will often find that butt exercises will help them obtain it. Knowing what exercises to do and then doing them correctly and consistently, is the key.
